Challenge/Problem
Workspace were moving to a new office and required a really quick turnaround to get up and running. When assessing options, it became apparent that a leased line would be the only option with only slow ADSL readily available.
As a leased line has a lead time of 3 months minimum, Workspace needed a temporary solution to get them up and running in their new premises.
Solution
Optionbox attended site to assess Workspace’s requirements and determine the correct solution. We recommended two 5G routers as a temporary measure, as this would be sufficient for Workspace’s workflow and could be installed within a matter of days.
The Monday after our site survey, Optionbox engineers attended site to install the routers and get Workspace’s PCs and phones connected. We ultimately installed a multinet SIM due to poor coverage in the area — this ensured the customer always have the strongest signal and speeds across 4 mobile networks.


Result
Workspace were able to work efficiently within a matter of days, which would have been impossible with wired connectivity.
The 5G routers was a great, reliable solution until they had a permanent internet connection sorted.
